Faith and Unity

Dear Friends and Customers,

On Feb. 10th, when I wrote our first newsletter on the Coronavirus, all eyes were on China, especially Wuhan, to control the spread of the Corona virus. We were paralyzed by fear as we put Strategic Sports factories under lockdown.  Protective gear was nearly impossible to obtain, I reached out to our friends. Many responded by sending masks quickly even by going thru tremendous hassle to secure them. Having masks at that critical juncture was imperative in keeping Strategic people safe and knowing we were not alone and having our friends around the world praying for us gave us the faith and confidence to keep focus on our daily tasks.

Two months later, Wuhan has come out of lockdown and the spread in China seems under control. However, the virus has not respected national borders and has spread around the world. Now many of our friends have reached out to us for masks. Of course, it is our turn to offer support. Strategic Sports has always taken our company motto of Protecting Life to heart. We will do what we can to keep our friends and family safe and have sent masks around the world. While no one at Strategic Sports has become sick with the virus but we are saddened to hear that some overseas friends have become ill and we pray for their full recovery.

As we struggle to manage daily changes, Strategic commits to avoiding layoffs for our Strategic people. It is the commitment of our people that gave us the strength to face the challenges. Together with suppliers and customers, we will have the strength to survive. I do not know what the world will be like post-virus. But with our combined courage and unity, we will survive these months as the world stops.
